Maicare cafe and spa is a cafe that stands out by integrating the cafe and spa concepts in one location. It's a unique concept that's rarely seen in the food and beauty industry. The concept of cafe and spa, according to the owner of cafe Fara Shafika Binti Rafidi, is a blend of ideas from a family business where her mother owns a spa, so they came up with the idea to combine the cafe and spa into a business and variety to attract more people.

This cafe has been open since 2009, although the steamboat and grill menus have only been available for about two months. This cafe is in Ayer Keroh, not far from Kota Cemerlang. The cafe and spa are open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day except Thursday, and the spa is only open to individuals who have scheduled an appointment, in order to avoid any complications during the covid-19 pandemic.

 

Steamboat and grill, which are comparable to those found at Seoul Garden but at a lower cost, are among the foods available. This steamboat offers two soup options: chicken soup and tomyam, and visitors can select one of the two to be served. They use homemade black pepper sauce on the grill.

 

Furthermore, maicare and spa is a hub for farm fresh milk goods, with the proprietor of maicare café and spa also being a stockist in Melaka. They currently have four staff managing the cafe and milk hub, as well as two employees managing the spa.

When asked about plans to open additional branches in Melaka or outside the city, Puan Fara Syafika said that for the time being, they are choosing not to think about it because they are experiencing employee shortages and, at the same time, she has other businesses such as ice cream shops, so he chose to focus on his existing business until it became well-known.
